- 96” Tape Measure
- Pearlized or Decorative Head Straight Pins – Singer

- Sewing Kit – Singer 00279

- Metallic Coated Safety Pins – Singer 00294

- Small Scissors (from sewing kit)
- Unpainted Wooden Frame
- Acrylic Craft Paint, Paintbrush
- Craft Glue
- Paint frame in color of your choice.
- Measure the exact length and width of your picture
frame, then add the measurements for the sides, plus
1”. Cut 2 pieces each from the tape measure
for the length and width of the frame. Center each
piece on the front of the frame, side to side and
top to bottom and glue in place. Trim away any excess.
- Glue the scissors, spools of thread, thimble
and snaps from the sewing kit to the front of the
frame, (items should overlap the tape measure.)
- You can wrap, (or wind if you have a sewing machine,)
some thread around the bobbins, or they can be glued
in place without thread.
- Apply a small drop of glue to the head of the
straight pins. Insert the points of the pins under
the tape measure, then lay the pins down so that
the heads are securely in place. Use the buttons
and safety pins to fill in any open spaces.
