Simplicity has Straight Pins for every fabric
and sewing use, from traditional dressmaker pins for general
use, to ballpoint pins for knits, to silk pins for sheer
and lingerie fabrics. They are available in steel and multicolored
with pearlized ball heads, which are very easy
to spot and handle. Plus, we’ve
got them in a multitude of sizes, from Sz (16) for appliqué,
to Sz (17) traditional length to extra long sizes (20-24)
for thicker fabrics and quilting. |

If it’s hand sewing needles you want,

As with hand sewing needles, one thing to
consider in buying machine needles is getting the variety
pack. In fact, most packages of machine needles come with
two each of three different sizes.
Machine needles are numbered, with the basic
rule of thumb being that the lower the number, the smaller
the needle. A size to 10 to 12 needle covers most projects,
while the higher-numbered needles are better for heavier
fabrics and lower-numbered needles are best for very lightweight
and sheer fabrics.
We’ve got a needle for every fabric - Regular point
needles for woven fabrics from sheer (Sz 70/9) to Heavy (Sz
100/16) fabric weight and Ballpoint needles for knit fabrics
from sheer (80/11) to heavyweight (100/16).Of course, we’ve
got the right needles for denim and imitation leather as

Good quality thread is the starting point
for any successful sewing project.
Be sure to look for a smooth finish and fuzzy thread means
there are weak spots and creates issues with lint. Our Simplicity
thread is offered in Mini Spool packs of cotton and polyester. |

All sewing kits are not created equal. We’ve
